Tbilisi (GBC) – Georgia’s wine exports have maintained the 2019 indicators. The country exported 12.1 million bottles of wines worth 31 million USD to 39 countries in January-February, up 7% year on year.

The top 5 exports markets are as follows:

Russia – 7.585.000 bottles (-13%), 

Ukraine – 1.314.750 bottles (+35%),

Poland – 1.1103.84 bottles (+77%),

China – 562.664 bottles (-6%)

Kazakhstan – 274.068 bottles (-21%).

Wine exports are growing to European countries: Latvia – 230.730(+30%), Germany – 150.862 (+53%), Lithuania – 115.992 (+11%), Estonia – 97.326 (+29%), Scotland – 53.124 (100%), Great Britain – 35.046 (+349%), the Netherlands – 21.006 (2593%).

Japan – 16.512 bottles (+86%), Canada – 40.740  (+5%), Belarus – 146.598  (+82%), Moldova – 32.988 (+16%), South Korea – 26.700 (+100%).
